Hey Bloggers :)
Until then we are attending classes and getting back to the grind for the second half of the semester. Everything is going fairly well, a bit stressful but that is school. Every week the team is still attending community service at park view elementary school. This is a nice break from soccer and school even if it is for only an hour of our time. Thanks for reading up on tech soccer, hope to continue the season with the tournament... keep reading!!

Hello bloggers!! Let me fill you in on some of the events going on with our team. This weekend we play MTSU, which is a team that we love to play. We always bring it against them, so this game can get us back on the winning track. Then, on Sunday we play Lipscomb at home!! This is our first home game in a while, so everyone should come out and support us.
As for the school side of life, it is the third week so everything is kicking into high gear. Tests and quizzes and papers are consuming our life, but everyone is doing pretty well adjusting to the life of a student athlete. For me personally, Organic Chemistry is taking a majority of my time, but I am really enjoying Anatomy and Physiology. Its a great class and I'm learning a lot. The team is also still attending community service at Park View Elementary School. Everyone goes once a week for an hour to help out the teachers and interact with the kids.
That's basically all that is going on right now on the soccer team...practice, weights, and class. Keep reading up on the blog and I will inform you of what is going on!! Thanks :)

Hello everyone! Thank you for viewing my blog today. During the month of August, our team has been doing a lot to prepare for the upcoming season. The soccer side of it has been lifting and practicing multiple times a day. This has been pretty difficult, but having encouraging teammates and uplifting coaches has helped move preseason along quit nicely.
While there is no school to worry about right now, we have been doing other activities besides soccer. One of our team goals is to put ourselves out in the community. We do this by volunteering at Park View elementary school. It is really exciting to see how the kids react to us and how much they love when we come to help out in their classroom. It is also great to help the teachers and give them a little break throughout the week. During the school year, we will be going to this school once a week to help the teachers with grading, organizing, and sometimes just sitting in the classroom playing with the kids.
Also during preseason, our team and the volleyball team went on a rafting trip! This was a great experience that I have never done before. It was so much fun getting to bond with the team especially getting to know the freshmen better was really great!! It was also awesome to go with volleyball team, who we are super close to. All in all preseason has been a great success. We have done a lot with the team and have become a great unit. I know we will be able to use this toward the season and reach our goals of winning the OVC and bringing home a championship! This weekend we will be traveling to play ETSU and UNC-Asheville. We are looking to bring home two wins. Wish us luck!! Thanks again for reading.
